StaffAid 2018 Review
2018 was another strong year for StaffAid. I am pleased to report that both our offices continue to develop relationships with many new care homes, as well as nurturing relationships with existing ones. 2018 has also seen business opportunities arise in the public sector which we have taken full advantage of. StaffAid is now an Approved Training Centre offering various training courses to care providers across the East Midlands. A special mention to Andrea who has really embraced and succeeded in her role as Head Trainer. Caren Bowen has also made a success of her new role as Head of Care, been called ‘the caped crusader’ by one client for going that extra mile, ensuring we only provide the very best service. Once again we sponsored the Lincolnshire Care Awards and I was proud to be part of the judging panel for this inspirational event. New team members Donna Atkinson and Georgia Paddock have had a real positive impact on our productivity and service levels. Finally, we were delighted to sponsor Gemma Bolton, 2nd Year student nurse, University of Lincoln, during her 4 week voluntary work placement in Tanzania. Helping the local community is something I feel very passionate about and we have agreed to sponsor another student nurse in 2019. Thank you to everyone who has helped make the StaffAid journey a memorable one so far, particularly our agency workers who are the best I’ve ever worked with.

StaffAid 2017 Review
As 2017 draws to an end, I would like to thank our fantastic nurses and carers for all their hard work and professionalism during this last year. As a consequence of their efforts and those of the management team we have built strong and well-established working relationships with the many care homes we serve. We also want to thank all our clients who have put their trust in StaffAid by using our services.
When I started StaffAid 18 months ago my vision was to build a nursing agency based on trust and high quality service – we knew that gaining our customers trust through the delivery of consistently high quality services was the best way for our company to grow and prosper. Our 2017 results show that we have clearly succeeded in this thereby satisfying my vision. We will always remain continually focused on our pursuit of excellence. It is important to me to give something back to the local community, and accordingly we are proud to sponsor the 2017 StaffAid Residential Care Award in association with LinCA (Lincolnshire Care Association).
Our success in gaining inclusion onto several preferred supplier lists for both national and regional care organisations is again testament to our commitment and service quality. We have enjoyed receiving accolades for the services we provide, but none more so than from one care home manager who emailed to say, ‘by far StaffAid is the best agency we have used’ – It doesn’t get much better than that.
In July we opened a new office in Leicester with an objective of emulating our success in Lincoln. I am pleased to report that everything is going to plan and we have already become a ‘first call’ agency for several Leicestershire based care homes. I am extremely confident that 2018 will see StaffAid continue to ‘add value’ to both new and existing clients by providing high quality agency staff with unparalleled service. Finally, I would like to thank my team whose support and loyalty have made the StaffAid journey to date an extremely enjoyable one.
